A reputable company is looking to employ the services of a Mechanical Engineer immediately. The job description is as follows;
Job Description :
·Estimate and determine the total cost of a project and associate costs which include site inspections, tests (sewage, drainage, or elevation levels), materials, equipment and labor cost
·Knowledge and experience in HVAC (Heating Ventilating and Air-Conditioning) will be an added advantage.
·Responsible for supervising a job to its completion while paying special attention to the allotted budget for the project as a whole
·Reviews the plans and financial projections for the job to be sure that they are accurate and reasonable
·Creates project schedules and works with contractors to assure the work is done properly and on time
·Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
·Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
·Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications and overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant;Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project and liaising with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws
·Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors
·Planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines and preparing reports as required
