According to the agreement in the form of an exchange of letters between China and Ghana government on December 12th ,2011, Chinese Government is committed to build two primary schools in Ghana as economic aid. Trough friendly negotiation on the relevant issues concerning the construction of the China-aided project of two primary schools in Otuam and Aakra, China Geo Ghana Ltd is entrusted by the Chinese Government and Ghana Ministry of Education to construct the project.
The project is the demolition of old structures and the construction of new structures at two primary schools in Otuam and Aakra, Mfantseman Municipality, Central Region. Each school will be provided with six classrooms of no less than 65m2 each, one library of 80m2, an office with a capacity of 12 staff, a principal’s office of no less than 30m2, a male washroom and a female washroom with a capacity of five people. The primary school in Otuam will also be provided with a store.
The construction period is 13 months and the total cost is 1000 rmb.
The project has completed smoothly at June 28th, 2013.
